Alexander Kremer was born in 1958 in St. Petersburg, into a family of artists. His father, famous Russian artist Mark Kremer, was his first teacher. Alexander graduated from the Art Institute of V.I. Muhin. His subjects include landscapes, still life, portraits, and thematic paintings. His works are in private collections in the United States and Europe and the Collections of the Ministry of Culture, Moscow, Russia; the Museum of Literature, St. Petersburg; and the National Painting Gallery, Tallinn, Estonia.
